Rarely seen as a single malt, another relatively unknown Speyside distillery - Mannochmore is one of Diageo’s workhorse distilleries, producing malt whisky for the Haig and Dimple blends. The distillery was closed in 1985 during the over-supply crisis and remained silent until 1989. Following a further period in mothballs in 1995-97 the distillery re-opened and is currently operating at close to full capacity.
An integral part of some of the world’s best-loved blends, Mannochmore whisky is perfumed and floral, like a fine white wine.
